Features of Los Pinos

MAIN HOUSE

There are 6 large double bedrooms in the main house, all with ensuite bathrooms and 5 of the bedrooms have separate private outdoor patio areas with outdoor showers.

Guests enter the villa through huge wooden doors into an extremely spacious reception area and the large living room to the left. Also to the left is the equally large fully equipped open plan kitchen, which looks across the indoor and outdoor areas out to the pool area.

The centrepiece of the living room/entertaining area is a large open log fire (for the rare chilly winter nights only of course!), and surrounding the whole living area are floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors leading out onto the terrace for outdoor dining and chilling out. This large outdoor terrace, with a huge dining table that seats at least 12 people comfortably, plus a separate corner of sofas and a drinks table, runs along the length of the living area and overlooks the pool area from an elevated spot, which when lit up during the evening creates a beautiful ambience whilst dining.

There are 3 double bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which is a separate master suite area, leading off from the kitchen area, with a courtyard and office space area. The other 3 double bedrooms can be found on the right-hand side of the villa leading down to the pool area, almost hotel style in its design.

 CASITA

The separate casita (annexe) behind the main villa measures almost 100 square metres alone, with a further covered parking area adjacent to it of 27 square metres. It is self-contained for guests or staff, with a further bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living room and kitchen, and if necessary can accommodate up to 4 people by converting the living room into an extra bedroom area.

 OUTDOOR AREAS

The villa surrounds the pool area like a glove, and the outdoor areas are equally spacious, with the huge pool measuring 123 square metres with its own changing rooms, toilet and shower along with a separate covered BBQ, and rest area.

There is an 800-metre running track around the house and through the woods and an enchanting grassy area for playing football or sports.

It cannot be stressed enough how perfect this villa and it´s outdoor areas are for relaxing tranquil family and friends holidays, hidden away in the woods but also close to the second largest town on the island, Santa Eulalia. Guests never come away disappointed!

 LOCATION – CENTRAL

Recommended Beaches: The beauty of being in the centre of the island is that most of the beaches are no more than a 15-minute drive away.

The heart of the island is spread across and between four of its towns, running from San Rafael in the southern part, through Santa Gertrudis and San Lorenzo, across to Santa Eulalia on the North East coast. Virtually all of the beaches are less than half an hour’s drive away.

Each of these towns has their own characteristics and identity, and of course gastronomic feasts galore, with San Juan road, which links them and is effectively the spine of the island, being known as ‘Restaurant Road’. This 7-8 km stretch of modernised road hosts none other than at least 10 must-try eateries, serving up anything from Meditteranean fusion and Thai to Italian, Japanese and traditional Ibicenco fare. Pristine whitewashed churches, local schools, farms, and orange groves stretch across the Morna Valley, together with historic ruins and numerous Agroturismo hotels.

Of the four towns, Santa Gertrudis is perhaps the most picturesque to tourists and locals alike, growing hugely in popularity over the last few years or so with Northern Europeans moving to Ibiza for the sun and relaxed island life, but also wanting to stay a little bit apart from the slightly more hedonistic south. Centred around a beautiful square surrounded by bars, restaurants, auction houses, and sports facilities, and just two minutes from the rapidly growing UK private school Morna International College, Santa Gertrudis provides a busy yet relaxed and positive vibe 365 days a year.

Santa Eulalia is the second largest town in Ibiza, almost as bustling in the Winter as it is in the Summer, with its own W hotel, theatre and festival centre, cinema, and all mod cons expected of a major town, as well as its own highly-rated beaches.
