MAIN HOUSE
This old finca has been renovated with incredible taste, modernised with all of today’s necessary lifestyle features and creature comforts, but retaining the real original feel of an old Ibicenco finca. The owners are veterans in the field of guest hospitality on the island, and no stone has been left unturned to ensure guests will have an enjoyable stay.
Inside the main house, there are 4 bedrooms, the largest of them having its own 70sqm private terrace adorned with orange and lemon trees and an outdoor shower. And the other 3 bedrooms all totally different and unique, with numerous terraces, making it hard to choose which one to stay in.
This part of the house has a fully equipped kitchen with ‘old school’ chimney, a beautiful and cosy living room accessed from all four bedrooms.
ANNEXE
Adjacent to the main house are 2 further bedrooms that offer total privacy.
They also have their own terraces, accessed along a little corridor taking you back almost 200 years to when it was first built.
KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
Separately from the main house, and overlooking the lawns, pool and yoga deck, is the main outdoor living room and open kitchen. The stunning new design of this space means that 3 of the 4 walls are floor to ceiling glass that can be fully opened to the stunning valley below. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from the luxurious living area and spacious U-shaped sofa. Literally walking from the old stone steps of the original finca into this modern open plan structure is a wonderful experience, especially during the evening.
For the complete dining experience, there is also a 3m wooden table and a fully equipped kitchen with 7 fires and 3 ovens, creating a unique dining and cooking experience. For the guests’ further enjoyment and entertainment, there is a projector with an automatic screen connected to a Sonos sound system.
OUTDOOR AREA
The land for this finca is spread over 15,000sqm.
On the way to the pool area is a rustic covered dining table of 3.5 meters with views to the valley, just 20m from the organic fields of the house, with an ecologic system installed to provide seasonal vegetables and fruits from the garden.
Around the pool are an array of different chill-out areas for relaxation.
A 50sqm open-air yet covered living room with sofas , floor cushions and coffee table (which can be transformed into a yoga area or outdoor gym for retreats upon request), 6 sunbeds with umbrellas and a separate 6sqm sunbed.
There is a further covered area with its own fridge and a bar with stools for refreshments, and a rustic outdoor bathroom built with the original stone wall and integrated perfectly into the landscape.
Fields of grass with fruit trees as oranges, lemons, clementines, apricots and other local products are dotted around the pool and the property in general.

LOCATION – CENTER
Recommended Beaches – Being in the centre of the island has the advantage that most beaches are no more than a 20-minute drive away.
The heart of the island is spread across and between four of its towns, running from San Rafael in the southern part, through Santa Gertrudis and San Lorenzo, and up to San Miguel further to the north. Virtually all of the beaches are less than half an hour’s drive away.
Each of these towns has their own characteristics and identity, and of course gastronomic feasts galore, with the San Juan road (which links them and is effectively the spine of the island) being known as ‘Restaurant Road’. This 7-8 km stretch of modernised road hosts none other than at least 10 must-try eateries, serving up anything from Mediterranean fusion and Thai, to Italian, Japanese and traditional Ibicenco fare. Pristine whitewashed churches, local schools, farms, and orange groves stretch across the Morna Valley, together with historic ruins and numerous agroturismo hotels.
Of the four villages, Santa Gertrudis is perhaps the most amenable to tourists and locals alike (as well as being the largest), growing hugely in popularity over the last few years or so with Northern Europeans moving to Ibiza for the sun and relaxed island life, but also wanting to stay a little bit apart from the slightly more hedonistic South. Centred around a beautiful square surrounded by bars, restaurants, auction houses, and sports facilities, and just two minutes from the rapidly growing UK private school Morna International College, Santa Gertrudis provides a busy yet relaxed and positive vibe 365 days a year.
